Dear Anonymous,

Thanks for your comment. You raised some interesting questions. I will try to answer your questions as much as I could.

Do I have a training? Are you referring to SEO training or PPC training? In this very blog post that you have commented on, I have explained that the majority of my knowledge in SEM and SEO comes from my years of experience optimizing websites for search engines and running PPC campaigns which goes back to Y2K and for over 120 websites. Of course my education in engineering where I learned programming, CIW which helped me better understand web design, e-commerce, SEO and web promotion, studying MCSE which helped me understand network administration, MBA in marketing with a dissertation on e-commerce and e-marketing and my award of achievement in Web Analytics have also helped me excel in my career.

You have seen this article on other sites as well? I have tried to provide my thoughts on topics. So, unless my articles are copied somewhere else, they should be original and representative of my thoughts and my point of views on the subject matters.

Linking to sites that I have optimized for? Unfortunately, I would have to pass on this. If at any time you decide to use the services provided through me, I would be more than happy to provide you with references and my SEO and SEM profile.

Which sites I have programmed? I do not profess to be a programmer in any way even though I have done programming in the past (back in school and earlier in my career). Currently my focus is mostly on online marketing including search engine optimization and marketing and helping Clients achieve high ROI through SEO and SEM consulting and training. In addition, I do not believe you need to be a programmer to be an SEO/SEM expert. Though I know some smart programmers who are doing a great job providing SEO services.

As for my CIW. I have to explain that CIW stands for Certified Internet Webmaster. This is a designation and it does not refer to any specific website. Again, if you decide to hire services offered through me, I would be more than happy to ask Certified Internet Web Professional program to provide you with the authentication.

You are confused? I give you every right! You are right. There are many people out there who claim to be SEO or SEM experts. While receiving resumes and interviewing people for SEO and SEM positions, I have seen many people who claim to be experts and when they ask them few questions that are a little bit tricky, they show that they have just read few articles on SEM and SEO topics and there is nothing deep in there. There are also others who are being trained by experts for few months and they think they have learned all the SEO and SEM techniques and claim in their resumes that they have been senior SEO specialists where they have been just a junior staff in their previous organizations. Even though I believe getting training in SEO and SEM from an expert can reduce the learning curve; it would not replace years of experience dealing with a variety of websites.

I hope you find my posts helpful and keep coming back and contribute.
